DC Comics has announced that some of its March 2016 tites will be hosting special variant covers apparently based on the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which comes out March 25. Ten of DC's Batman and Superman-related titles will have what DC is calling "Batman/Superman" variant covers (they don't specifically mention Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in their press release) with three versions for each cover (pencils, inked and colored versions) all inside black polybags similiar to the recent Harley Quinn variants.
DC has released five of the variants, in all three of their component versions. They are Rafael Grampa's Detective Comics #50 variant, Kevin Maguire's Batman/Superman #30 variant (originally advertised to be by Tony Moore), Martin Ansin's Action Comics #50 variant, Superman #50 variant cover by Kaare Andrews, Robin: Son of Batman #10 variant cover by Ryan Ottley, Batman #50 variant by Chris Daughtry and Jim Lee, Superman/Wonder Woman #27 variant cover by Charlie Adlard, Grayson #18 variant cover by Stephen Platt, and Wonder Woman #50 variant cover by Massimo Carnevale.
The only variant yet to be revealed is Batgirl #50 by Kevin Nowlan.
