In 2007, Warner Bros. hired Mad Max director George Miller to create what would've been the first Justice League movie; a year later the studio cancelled it, but a Australian photographer named Mark Rogers has revealed two never-before-seen shots of that film's Wonder Woman. Model/actress Megan Gale was cast by Miller to play Wonder Woman on screen.

George Miller's Justice League: Mortal was an expansive team film originally timed to be released just after Superman Returns and Batman Begins. Miller cast the "Big 7" of the team, including Arnie Hammer as Batman and D.J. Cotrana as Superman. The film was to be loosely based on Mark Waid's JLA arc "Tower of Babel."

Gale went on to have minor roles in films like Stealth, but also played the Valkyrie in Miller's next live-action film, Mad Max: Fury Road.
