DC's December variant month theme is in honor of its upcoming new series Harley's Little Black Book, and Newsarama has the first look at three of those covers. DC has provided us with the pencils for cover images by Bruce Timm, Lee Bermejo and Terry Dodson.
Unlike previous DC variant month themes, the December variants will be three fold -- one variant with the full color version of each illustration, one with justed the inked black and white art, and one simply with the original pencils.
There will be 10 titles with these variants. In this gallery Newsarama has the newly revealed Harley Quinn #23 variant by Bruce Timm, Superman #47 variant by Lee Bermejo, and The Flash #47 variant by Terry Dodson. DC has also released (via ComicVine, IGN and Comic Book) J. Scott Campbell's variant for Harley's Little Black Book #1, Darwyn Cooke's variant for Green Lantern #47, Alex Ross's variant for Batman #47, Tim Sale's variant for Green Arrow #47, Justice League #47 by Jim Lee, and Wonder Woman #47 by Amanda Conner.
Only one variant -- Justice League of America #6 by Joe Madureira -- has not been released as of yet.
DC has stated that the final, full cover versions will not be released online but can only be seen by purchasing a copy and opening the polybag.
