One of DC's premiere DEO agents is coming to the small screen courtesy of CBS's Supergirl.

According to The Mary Sue, Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress Emma Caulfield has been cast as Cameron Chase in an upcoming episode of the CBS series.

For the uninitiated, Cameron Chase is a DEO agent specializing in metahuman activities who debuted in the pages of Batman before landing her own series, which ran for 10 issues. Most recently in the "New 52," Cameron Chase was seen taking on Batwoman.

Here's how CBS describes her character on Supergirl: "After her father’s violent murder, Cameron Chase decided to dedicate her life to law enforcement. Now a stern, no holds barred FBI agent, Chase’s weapons of choice are manipulation and manpower. With little sympathy, and plenty of suspicions, she pursues her targets with ruthless determination."

The Mary Sue's report does not make it clear in which episode Caulfield will debut as Chase, nor in how many episodes she'll appear.

Supergirl airs Monday nights on CBS.
