Vin Diesel has gone on record several times about his interest in playing Black Bolt in Marvel's movies, and now he's come forward with an audition -- via interview. Speaking with IGN, the Fast & Furious star gave his silent "audition" for the part of Black Bolt, following it up with, "If I said one word, I would level all of London."
Diesel also joked about how a conversation with his father could be taken as worried the actor might be an Inhuman, as well as mentioning talks he's had with Marvel Studios' President Kevin Feige about playing two roles at Marvel.
"It would be... put it this way, when Kevin Feige started talking to me about... who would ever think? A voice for one thing and presence for another would be pretty genius – it'd be pretty genius. Whenever my father sends me an email, at the end of it he says 'stay human' – and it's cool and beautiful, but what is he really trying to say. Is he trying to say I've been affected by Terrigen Mist? Does he want to cocoon me again?"
Feige has yet to weigh in on whether Diesel is even in the running for the part, and word may be a long time coming as Inhumans has not begun casting at all. However, Feige has expressed that there may be room in the MCU for Diesel to play a second role at some point, so this rumor may not be outside the realm of possibility.
