The Wrap is reporting that another DC villain is being brought in for the new season of Arrow: the card-dealing Double Down. The character will reportedly be played by J.R. Bourne (Teen Wolf, Stargate SG-1), and will debut in the new season's third episode.
Double Down was originally created by DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns and artist Ethan Van Sciver during the writer's long run on The Flash. Double Down's real name is Jeremy Tell, and was a con artist who comes to possess a deck of cursed playing cards that bonds with his skin. He later joins the villainaous group, the Rogues.
J.R. Bourne's Double Down is the latest of several new villains being brought in for the new season of Arrow, ranging from Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), Anarky (Alexander Calvert), and others.
Arrow's fourth season begins October 7.
