Deadline reports that the touring show Marvel Experience has been abruptly cancelled, with its current showing in Philadelphia being the last. The indoor exhibit was announced to be touring North America, with previous stops in Phoenix, Dallas and San Diego. Previously the show had experienced less-than-anticipated ticket sales, leading the touring show's organizers to revamp the event prior to the Philadelphia show. No reason was given for the full cancelation, but Deadline reports that refunds will be given.
Interestingly, the Marvel Experience shares two producers with a previous Marvel cancellation, that of the Broadway show Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. Both shows were produced by Michael Cohl and Jeremiah J. Harris, who were joined by Hero Ventures and Marvel Entertainment.
