Marvel has debuted a new poster promoting Agent Carter season 2 via Entertainment Weekly that will be available at Comic-Con International: San Diego. The illustration is by Kris Anka, who coincidentally is the series artist on the upcoming Captain Marvel series written by Agent Carter showrunners Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas. Fazekas also pulled back the curtain about the upcoming season and its new locale.
“In Los Angeles, you have the spectacular wealth, glamour and beauty right next to the grit and crime—often right up against each other,” said Fazekas. “We’re very much being inspired by Noir films.”
Previously, an EW report shared the not-so-surprising news that cast members James D'Arcy and Enver Gjokaj would return in the new season, and today's article revealed more details about their return.
“We have a nice organic way to infuse Jarvis,” Fazekas says. “That was always the challenge. He’s not an agent. The case for the first season is over, so the biggest question for us this season was: We love Peggy and Jarvis together, that’s a really important relationship, how do we keep them together? L.A. has provided us a really nice, organic way to do so.”
LUCIFER Recasts Secondary Role
Deadline reports that one of the primary roles in Fox's Lucifer has been recast. The recurring role of Dan, a policeman, is now being played by True Blood and Arrow alum Kevin Alejandro, taking over for Nicholas Gonzalez.
In the pilot, Gonzales's Dan was a cop who becomes wary of Lucifer's involvement with his wife and daughter. Alejandro will take on the role for the remainder of the series.
Lucifer tells the story of the titular lord of Hell who becomes bored with his station, and comes to Earth where he helps the LAPD solve crimes.
