According to Variety, actor Jack Huston has exited the upcoming film revival of The Crow. Citing scheduling conflicts, Huston's exit leaves the role vacant, with the studio reportedly eyeing Nicholas Hoult or Jack O'Connell as a replacement.
Director Corin Hardy issued a statement, saying “Jack Huston is unfortunately unavailable to continue with us on The Crow. The Crow is an amazing project, and I am grateful that we have the time and patience to get it right. We look forward to unveiling our new lead and starting to film over the next several weeks.”
Also mentioned in the report is the apparent casting of Forest Whitaker is an as yet undisclosed role. The Crow is set for release in 2016.
