Disney has unveiled a new interactive gaming system called Playmation that looks to merge traditional gameplay with real-world activity. Aimed at children, Playmation will introduce different games based on Disney's properties, with The Avengers coming first in fall of 2015, Star Wars tin 2016, and Frozen sometime in 2017.
Rather than confining users to a television, Playmation connects to devices situated around the room, even allowing users to take their adventures outside. Disney COO Tom Staggs referred to the system as "play for the 21st century." The devices will come with cloud-based software as well as a mobile app.

Playmation pre-orders begin on July 7, with the system itself being available in October.
