In a recent chat with Variety, Michael Fassbender revealed his three picture deal to star as Magneto is over with the currently shooting X-Men: Apocalypse, but said he "will shoot a hundred of them," when asked if he'd do more.

"The contract is in three film deals, and this is the last of that. But I’ll be curious to see what happens next," he said.

Fassbender's X-Men: Days of Future Past co-star Hugh Jackman recently said he wanted to play Wolverine "til the day he died," only to reverse course a few months later.

It's worth noting that his hyperbole is present throughout the seemingly sometimes terse interview.

Earlier in the interview, asked if he'll reprise his role as David in a Prometheus sequel, Fassbender replied, "I don’t know. I just follow the Internet to find out what I’m doing these days. The mighty Internet has told me it’s happening."

X-Men: Apocalypse also stars James McAvoy, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Oscar Isaac, Sophie Turner, Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Rose Byrne, Olivia Munn, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, and Lucas Till. It is set for a May 27, 2016 release date.
