Although her character name is Mystique, Jennifer Lawrence leaves nothing to the imagination when it comes to her future with the X-Men movies.
During the red carpet premiere of her current film Serena, the actress revealed that the forthcoming X-Men: Apocalypse will be her last with the franchise.
"It is my last one, actually," Lawrence said to MTV's Josh Horowitz when asked about her role in the X-Men movies. She later confirmed it unequivocably with a simply "Yes."
Set for release May 27, 2016, X-Men: Apocalypse will be Lawrence's third X-Men film after X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past. One could assume that the actress' rise to fame with The Hunger Games after signing the multi-picture deal for X-Men: First Class would have something to do with the decision not to do reprise her Mystique role a fourth time.
