Video game fans have been waiting for nearly two years for Batman: Arkham Knight to be released -- and now they're going to have to wait a little longer.
On Monday morning, Rocksteady Studios announced via the Batman Arkham twitter page that Batman: Arkham Knight's release date has been pushed back to June 23, 2015. This is the second time the release of the game has been delayed by the publisher, as it was originally announced for a October 14, 2014 release date before being pushed back once to June 2, 2015.
"We're a developer that hates to make any compromises, so we are sorry to say this means it's going to be just a little bit longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy," said Rocksteady game director Sefton Hill in a press release. "As a reward for your patience and understanding, and to make the wait even more unbearable, we are pleased to whet your appetite with a new gameplay video of Batman: Arkham Knight."
