According to KSiteTV, veteran Arrow producer - and Green Arrow comics writer - Andrew Kreisberg has joined the staff of CBS's Supergirl as an executive producer.
Further, fellow Arrow alum Glen Winters has also joined on as a director for the CBS series. While none of this is any indication that Arrow and Supergirl will crossover, this is the day and age where just about anything is possible when it comes to comics on the big and small screens.
And from behind the scenes to in-front of the camera, Deadline reports on two more series regulars that have been added to the cast.
First up is Homeland actor David Harewood as Hank Henshaw - who many readers will recognize as the human who in comics would become Cyborg Superman.
In the show, Henshaw is reportedly a former C.I.A. agent who now runs the Department of Extra-Normal Operations, which tracks extraterrestrial threats to Earth -- whom Supergirl, given her extraterrestial origins, would be under his purview.
Also joining the cast is Grey's Anatomy star Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Kara Zor-El's foster sister whose fascination with Kara's powers has lead her to become a doctor and scientist.
Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as the titluar Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, and is set to debut this fall on CBS.
