People might think Hell's Kitchen - or at least the United States - is the primary turf of Marvel's Daredevil, but he's gone and shown up in Australia of all places.
Australian film magazine FilmInk is showing off a new photo of Charlie Cox as the titular star of the upcoming Netflix Daredevil as the cover for its March 2015 print edition. Take a look:
Meanwhile on the Daredevil Twitter page, Marvel showed up a boxing poster advertising a match between Daredevil's father, Battlin' Jack Murdock, and an opponent named Carl Crusher Creel.
As Marvel fans will know, Carl "Crusher" Creel is in fact the supervillain the Absorbing Man - and has already appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Creel appeared just a few months ago in an episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and was identified as a boxer but seemed relatively young as played by 36 year old Brian Patrick Wade. In comics, Jack Murdock's boxing career was in Daredevil's childhood - presumably a decade or more in the past.
It remains to be seen what - if any - connection will exist between the characters.
Daredevil will debut its first season, 13 episodes in total, on April 10 via Netflix.
