Ratings In For AGENT CARTER Debut
Speaking of Agent Carter, Variety reports that the series debut earned 6.7 million viewers - out pacing all but the premiere of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s new season. Agent Carter placed second in the night after the blockbuster NCIS megablock of shows, with the ABC series losing a considerable amount og the young-adult demographic into its second hour.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s original series debut in 2013 earned an exceptional 12.1 million viewers, something no one expected Agent Carter to match, but according to Variety, given the heavy promotion Marvel Studios, ABC and Disney had done for the show, its rating was "rather middling."
