USA Today just showed off five new preview pages from this week's debut of Batman Eternal #1, plus a new variant cover. Add to that the four previous preview pages from comiXology, and it appears to be a look at the first nine pages of the debut issue of the new year-long weekly series.
Interestingly enough, it starts at "THE END. "
USA Today also included a brief interview with some of the series' writers. Among the new bits of info - co-writer Ray Fawkes is bringing back The Ten-Eyed Man along with various other villains and characters that haven't been seen in the Bat-titles for years, including the return of "a woman that everybody on the creative team thought was a crazy idea."
"We sat with it in the room and there's totally a perfect place for her in this story," James Tynion IV told USA Today. "We're rerouting everything to make it one of the key parts of the series."
Also included in the updated preview is the Andy Kubert cover to May's Batman Eternal #6.
