IRON MAN 3 Co-Star Wants In AVENGERS 2, More Movie News

Don Cheadle, star of Iron Man 3 in new armor as the Iron Patriot, told HeroComplex he'd like to suit up again, this time as part of a team. When the interviewer mentioned that some fans have asked for Rhodey in Avengers 2, he emphatically replied "Keep that going!" He expanded upon that, saying, "Yeah, when I signed on to do Iron Man the series, I signed on for multiple movies. And when I said yes, I understood that there could be potentially a bigger and more substantive iteration of this character down the line. So yeah, I’d be interested in it."

The actor also talked about the difficulties of being in the suit, who Rhodey is as a soldier and as a patriot, and the pleasure of working with Shane Black as both writer and director, something he could potentially enjoy again as Avengers 2 is written and directed by Joss Whedon.

Millar's SECRET SERVICE Star Found?

Mark Millar's next comic book adaptation, The Secret Service, about a British spy school and a troubled youth that joins it thanks to his dashing 007-like uncle, may have found its uncle. THR reports Oscar-winning actor Colin Firth is in talks with director Matthew Vaughn and company to star in the film, adapted from the Millar and Dave Gibbons comic book of the same name. The movie is due for a November 14, 2014 release, so there's still time to iron out the kinks in a contract.
