Not content with winning every award under the sun for their first comic book adaptation game, The Walking Dead, Telltale Games has finally released information about their upcoming Fables game, including the full title, Fables: The Wolf Among Us. The game comes from Telltale Games with DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment "summer 2013," with no exact release date locked down. Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Mac will all get the game, downloadable from their respective stores. The game will be episodic in nature, like prior Telltale titles, meaning you'll get it a chapter or "episode" at a time. Unlike The Walking Dead, where you played as an entirely new character, Fables lets you play as the biggest and baddest member of Fabletown, Sheriff Bigby Wolf. As the Sherrif you'll be tasked with keeping order, and Telltale promises you'll interact with all the major members of the community, including Snow White, the Three Little Pigs, Mr. Toad, and more. "Developing The Wolf Among Us based on the FABLES universe has allowed our studio to build upon all of the hallmarks of what makes our episodic series so engaging for players," said Dan Connors, CEO and Co-Founder of Telltale Games. "Through an evolution of our approach to choice and consequence, we can further explore the complexity of each and every iconic character in a universe rich with untold history from the darkest sides of the storybooks." The game announcement is so fresh that the official website and Facebook links aren't live just yet, but more information on Fables: The Wolf Among Us will come there, and here, soon.
