One Kick-Ass Sidekick

Enzo Clienti, known most well for his supporting role in The Rum Diary, is now the latest to don tights for Kick-Ass 2, Variety reports. The actor will play an as-yet unnamed character who acts as the sidekick to John Leguizamo's "Javier."

Clienti joins an already packed cast, with returning leads Chloë Grace Moretz, Aaron Johnson, Nicolas Cage, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse already being joined by newcomers Jim Carrey, the aforementioned Leguizamo, Donald Faison, Lindy Booth, Morris Chestnut, Daniel Kaluuya, and many more. The movie, directed by Jeff Wadlow, is due in theaters June 28, 2013.

NBC Moves to Midnight, Mass

Vertigo's Midnight, Mass is in development as a television series, according to Deadline... again. But while Deadline says the now-at-NBC development marks the second time for the series, Blog@ points out it's actually the third time, according to creator John Rozum.

"I'm a bit more hopeful this time with the talent involved," said Rozum on his own blog. As for that talent? Snow White And The Huntsman co-writer Evan Daugherty will write the adaptation, and Warner Bros TV will produce. Maybe Warner can get a Midnight, Mass show on TV before getting Wonder Woman back on small or big screens. Wouldn't that be something?
