Arcana’s Gearhead is following in the footsteps of titles from
larger publishers as it was announced that the film rights to the four
issue miniseries have been picked up by Gale Anne Hurd’s Valhalla
Motion Pictures.
The story of the series follows a young woman who leaves the drag strip to team up with a group of rebels to fight the corrupt superheroes who govern the U.S. Created by Dennis Hopeless and Kevin Mellon the trade is currently available through the publisher and Diamond.
Hurd and Valhalla most recently produced The Incredible Hulk and the upcoming Punisher: War Zone, due in theaters on December 5th.
