The fruit of a great deal of DC’s labor over the last year is just now becoming visible on the horizon. Diamond’s August Previews for comic books shipping in October is a couple of weeks away and the distributor has released to retailers preview cover images to the catalog.

On the front cover is the start of DC’s mega-event Infinite Crisis, the seven-issue limited series by writer Geoff Johns, artist Phil Jimenez and dual cover artists Jim Lee and George Perez. The series is the culmination of current “Countdown to Infinite Crisis” limited series, specials, and ongoing series tie-ins and storylines going back as far as more than two years.
