I don't see a problem.

In real life, consequences of attraction to women or men include such unfortunate issues as Sexually-Transmitted Diseases, Unwanted Pregnancies, Gential Warts and general stickiness.

People attracted to comics characters, as seen in such publications as Heavy Metal or Vampirella really only need to worry about paper cuts.

The moral of the story, children, is that Love and "Loving" are not meant to be 2-Dimensional.

Neither Heavy Metal nor Vampirella are typical examples of the comics market nor are they marketed at kids. Classroom debates about children and body image tend to be informed by cultural politics more than anything else. Listening to them you'd never know that, when in comes to clothes and body image, the primary influence on young girls is their peer group and not magazines. You'd never know that primary eating disorder is obesity and not anorexia.

my prob is that damn near ALL comic book chicks are hot and that ain't reflective of the real world. yeah, comics are fantasy, but still, do you really gotta look perfect to have some type of superpower? applies to men too. all rob leifelded up...it's just not realistic. even the skinny, scrawny characters got muscles. old fogies are ripped. it's ridiculous. i wanna see someone like big fat momma from wwtbas displayed prominently cuz it's more realistic. i know gen x are the primary comic buyers these days and we like hot girls but when EVERY chick looks the same, it gets old. i like variety. not that's realistic!
