Anywhere else to buy rare backissues except ebay?
I was looking to get the variants for Spectacular Spider-Man 231 and Spider-Man 65 (they're the white covers that came with the Ramones cassette) and ebay has them, but the sellers are asking a lot.
Just wondering if anyone knew any other sites where backissues are bought/sold/traded. Thanks.

nope. ebay can both rock and suck, depending on the item. when you search, click save this search and you will get an email when it comes up for sale. i've gotten some bargains like that recently ... right place, right time.

Yeah, I actually bought that (Amazing Spider-Man 408) and Sensational Spider-Man 1, but they didn't come with the tape. I could care less about the tape, to be honest.
Thanks for the help!

Ya, there are a good amount out there. A few of them are:
scifigenre.com - usually has a fairly decent backissue selection.
mycomicshop.com - Used them for some trades and it took awhile for them to arrive. (About 4 months) But they did reimburse me shipping and one book for the wait.
newkadia.com - used them recently and didn't have any problems.

Define "Rare" backissues?
Some lame variant, or a legit older comics (and no, I don't mean from the 90s)
Try garage sales, estate sales (especially farmers. Those guys are pack rats).
The hunt for an older comic... it's a lost art

Thanks for the help guys. I did find the issues I was looking for.
However, I will bookmark these websites for future use (and older backissues).

Mycomicshop has a lot of titles... it's just a matter of adding issues to you wat list and expect them to show up. Sometimes takes months but eventually they're in stock.
