Update 2: Marvel X-Men Teasers: A NEW GENERATION OF HOPE

Update 2 July 8, 2010: And here are lights 4 and 5, presumably. One of these certainly looks painful, not to mention significantly older than the rest of the characters depicted. The other has a strange blurry quality to it, perhaps indicative of a speedster. So that brings us a speedster, a feral character, this girl with the 3D eyes, someone perhaps being enhanced through some technological means, and what appears to be Blink all Apocalypsed-out. This wouldn't be a first for one of the descendants of En Sabah Nur; Blink's distant (or not-so-distant) relative Jonothan "Chamber" Starsmore was re-engineered in the image of his ancestor, complete with crazy jaw-cheek lines.
Update 1 July 6, 2010: A third teaser image came our way from Marvel today, this one showing a male character with some very sharp teeth and a feral look. Much of the speculation on these teasers centers around the defunct title Generation X due to the word and font used in the images. Whether the story, the characters or a deeper connection will be present remains to be seen. In the meantime, we can all keep speculating just who the heck these people are.
