'Next Big Thing' - THUNDERBOLTS VS. THUNDERBOLTS - LIVE!

Marvel's fifth and final "Next Big Thing" conference call with the comic book press is happening at 1 p.m. Friday, and while the exact tpoic or creators on the line hasn't yet been specified, given the two covers sent over — including a new image of Baron Zemo spendin' time with Moonstone in both her current-day look and her Meteorite guise from the original Thunderbolts lineup — it seems pretty clear that the topic will be the previously announced "Thunderbolts vs. Thunderbolts" story, and we're going to go ahead and guess that series writer Jeff Parker will be on the line.

The week started with Rick Remender and Gabriel Hardman talking Secret Avengers on Monday, then news on Tuesday that Walter Simonson was joining Brian Michael Bendis on Avengers, Wednesday's announcement that Captain America and Bucky will become Captain America and Hawkeye in April, and Thursday brought word of the Greg Rucka and Mark Waid-written "Omega Effect" crossover between Avenging Spider-Man, Daredevil and Punisher.
