Marvel just announced via Marvel.com that the all-ages Marvel Adventures line is not so dead after all. The line gets a pair of new books at new #1s. The new books bear a slightly different trade dress, with "Marvel Adventures" now appearing after the name of the book. Both Spider-Man and Super-Heroes are billed as ongoing series, and both will be written by current "Adventures" scribe Paul Tobin. Spidey's newest ongoing has art by Matteo Lolli, while the Avengers' new book will be drawn by Ronan Cliquet. While Iron Man is featured front and center on the cover of Super-Heroes #1, the description of the book says it will feature the Avengers as a whole.
Both books launch in April, with over-sized debut issues at $3.99. The ongoings will be standard 32 page length at $2.99 thereafter.
