As a sneak peek at something we’ve got coming tomorrow here at Newsarama, here are two design sketches by Philip Tan of characters coming up in the “Agent Orange” arc in DC’s Green Lantern. There are many - many members of the Orange Lantern Corps, and Tan has promised to share his designs with Newsarama between now and the start of the arc.
“Agent Orange” kicks off in Green Lantern #39 in February. The solicitation for the issue reads:
Written by Geoff Johns; Art by Philip Tan and Jonathan Glapion; Cover by Ivan Reis and Oclair Albert; Variant cover by Rodolfo Migliari
"Agent Orange" Part 1 and featuring an "Origins and Omens" backup tale! As the orange light of avarice erupts in violence within the Vega System, the secrets of the Guardians' pact with the criminals of the universe that has kept the Vega System off limits is revealed. Hal Jordan comes face to face with the mysterious and immensely powerful Agent Orange in a bizarre confrontation.
“Agent Orange” continues in issue #40 in March:
Written by Geoff Johns; Art and cover by Philip Tan and Jonathan Glapion; Variant cover by Rodolfo Migliari
"Agent Orange" part 2! The prelude to "The Blackest Night" continues as the war of light explodes across the Vega System. It's the Green Lantern Corps vs. the bizarre Orange Lantern Corps led by the most disgusting, filthiest, vilest being in the universe. But now that Agent Orange has been disturbed, what does that mean to the rest of the universe? Plus, John Stewart battles alongside his newest ally...Fatality?
Check back tomorrow for our interview with Tan about his work with Johns in the world of the Orange Lanterns.
