On this episode of the Word Balloon podcast, we wrap up our
conversation with Brad Meltzer, who tells all about the inspirations
for his latest novel, The Book Of Lies.
Brad discusses the soundtrack specially created for the book, and talks about the pseudo docu-video about The Book Of Lies, featuring Brian K Vaughn, Joss Whedon, and Christopher Hitchens, among others.
We go deeper into Brad's theories that writer Jerry Siegel conceived
the idea of a bulletproof man called Superman, after the murder of his
father in 1932.
We also talk at length about Brad's goal to save the Siegel Birthplace via his auction website http://www.ordinarypeoplechangetheworld.com/.
