As we reported in Janaury, President Barack Obama will appear in Youngblood #8, later this month.
Image Comics has provided Newsarama with three preview pages from the six-page story written and drawn by Rob Liefeld. The story centers on Obama announcing his first major superhero initiative. As Liefeld pointed out in the press release, Image’s superhero titles have a long history of dabnbling in real-world politics, from Dan Quayle in WILDCats to George H.W. Bush in Youngblood and Bill Clinton in Supreme.

More about the Obama back-up story from the release:
The Liefeld penned six-page back-up story will see America's 44th
President begin his term by selecting the next line-up of YOUNGBLOOD to
protect the country after the team's radical changes set forth in Joe
Casey and Derec Donovan's fan-favorite run. This leads into May's
YOUNGBLOOD #9, in which Liefeld returns to the book full-time and
President Obama comes into play as the White House comes under siege.
The issue is due in stores on February 25th.
