On this edition of the Word Balloon podcast, animator Jake Hughes joins us for a conversation about the Watchmen Motion Comic. Jake developed the animation process, and proposed the project to Warner Premiere, and the result has been a new way to present the story and art to an audience pre-sold on the forthcoming Zack Snyder film.

Jake gives us an in depth behind the scenes look at the motion comic process, from Dave Gibbons involvement, to the original musical score performed by a 50 piece orchestra.

As reported earlier this week, the Watchmen Motion Comic will be presented in the Blu- Ray DVD format on sale March 6th, and is currently available as an iTunes video download.
