Virgin Comics' The Stranded debuts this week. Does the artwork and Mike Carey's story hold up to the scrutiny of The Stack? And the guys are loving Zombies vs. Robots vs. Amazons. Issue #2 hits stands this week and sadly there's only one more issue left.
Then in part 2, Shadowline's Cemetery Blues #1 is, according to Pete, "a lot of fun". It's a monster hunt set in the past. Then in the speed round, they fellas are talking about The Umbrella Academy #5, Amazing Spider-Man #547, New Exiles #1, Fell, and Fear Agent.
Finally, in part 3 a YouTube user asks what we think about speculative comic book purchasing today and how it compares to the level of collecting in the 90s. Are comics for reading or for collecting? The Stack crew weighs in.
