Together with Image Comics, Newsarama is bringing you a week full of #1 issues from the publisher. That’s right – the full issues of titles you’ve probably heard of, but may have missed or been unable to find in your local shop.

First up: Fell #1 by Warren Ellis and Ben Templesmith. The issue hit in September to a quick sellout, thanks in no small aprt to the new format championed by Ellis: $1.99 for 16 pages of story.

The solicitation for the issue reads:

Detective Richard Fell is transferred over the bridge from the big city to Snowtown, a feral district whose police roster numbers three-and-a-half people (one detective has no legs).
