With titles like Uncanny Avengers, All-New X-Men, and the main Avengers title detailed to launch the Marvel NOW! revamp, it's time to start looking to the future. That future sees more creative team shake-ups as new titles are launched and existing books are relaunched for a new era.
Marvel's first November relaunch teaser arrived this morning, and it's simply one word in red: Invincible. Well that and the creative team of Kieron Gillen and Greg Land, answering where they'll be going when Uncanny X-Men is canceled in favor of All-New X-Men. Assuming Marvel hasn't purchased Mark Grayson from Robert Kirkman, this is the new creative team for Invincible Iron Man.
Iron Man has had a lot of #1s in his 39 year history. After starting off in Tales of Suspense and starring in Avengers, Tony Stark and his suit of armor launced their own ongoing in 1968. Since then, he's had five volumes of Iron Man or Invincible Iron Man, to say nothing of mini-series and alternate universe titles. Matt Fraction and Salvador Larocca have been on the title for around 50 issues, marking one of the longer runs by a creative team in the modern era.
