NIGHTWING Revealed in LEGO BATMAN 2: DC HEROES

It's no surprise that Dick Grayson, the first Robin now known as Nightwing, will be showing up as a playable character in Lego Batman 2: DC Heroes. In this exclusive reveal of his new character model, we see that he's still in his old Blue and Black duds from pre-New 52, rather than the new costume that has a splash of red replacing the blue.

His official description from the game, seen below, also shows his old status. So comic book fans who are aching for some old-school DCU, pull up your socks and grab your blocks and get ready for Lego Batman 2: DC Heroes, featuring Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and now officially Nightwing, coming to consoles and handhelds June 1, 2012 in North America, June 27, 2012 in Europe.

Real Name:  Richard “Dick” Grayson

Base:  Blüdhaven

Special Powers and Abilities:  Known for his fighting skills and detective abilities, his utility belt includes Eskrima sticks.  His suit allows him to take damage from fire and bullets.

In-Game Abilities:  Acrobatic style of fighting with two night sticks and a Batarang, as well as the ability to grapple.
