NEW COMICS DAY Twitterama

This week may mark the end of Oprah in daily syndication, but hey, don't despair, it's the beginning of another New Comic Book Day. For previews of this week's releases, including an exclusive looks at Hack/Slash/Eva Monster's Ball #1 from Dynamite and Action Comics #901 from DC Comics, simply head over here.

The inimitable J. Caleb Mozzocco takes new releases each week, adds his own keen insight, and calls it ‘Twas the Night Before Wednesday… on Blog@Newsarama. This time around, he's looking at everything from the trade paperback collection of The Marvels Project to IDW's Deep Sleeper hardcover.

Jonathan Hickman's latest epic continues with FF #4, kicking off "The War of Four Cities." Also from Marvel this week, the six-issue Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine miniseries from Jason Aaron and Adam Kubert, which started in May 2010, wraps up. Heard of a dude called Thor? The Mighty Thor #2 is out this week.

DC's output this week is very heavily slanted towards the world of Green Lantern, less than a month before that film is in theaters. Three parts of "War of the Green Lanterns" are out today, Green Lantern #66, Green Lantern Corps #60 and Green Lantern Emerald Warriors #10. Plus, Brightest Day fallout in Green Arrow #12.

Elsewhere in the comicsphere: The Marvels team of Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross reunite to pay tribute to Jack Kirby in Dynamite's Kirby Genesis #0, Dark Horse's King Conan: The Scarlet Citadel #4 brings that miniseries to a close, BOOM! launches a new DuckTales ongoing series, and Image's latest zombie series '68 gets a second issue.

The always-on-the-case Best Shots team has advance reviews of the past four comics here, but Twitterama is about one thing, and that's hearing from you! So get to your local comic book establishment, leave with some stuff, read the heck out of it and then get on Twitter (Don't forget to follow us!), and let the world know your 140-character-or-less thoughts on this week's releases. Just add the hashtag:

and it'll go into our stream right here! So share your thoughts, spread the word, and let's talk comics!
