Artist Jeffrey Catherine Jones Dead at 67

Artist Jeffrey Catherine Jones has passed away at the age of 67, according to several reports including a tweet from filmmaker Maria Cabrado.

In her career, Jones worked as a fantasy artist and illustrator, as well as working on comics including Creepy, Eerie, Wonder Woman and Heroes for Hope. In the '70s, the artist shared a workspace dubbed "The Studio" with fellow acclaimed illustrators Michael Kaluta, Bernie Wrightson and Barry Windsor-Smith.

Cabrado recently directed a documentary about Jones titled Better Things: The Life & Choices of Jeffrey Jones. A Newsarama interview with Cabrado on the project is here.
