NEW COMICS DAY Twitterama

Over here at Newsarama central we're prepping for a boatload of coverage from this weekend's C2E2 convention in Chicago, but before any of that can happen, we've got another New Comic Book Day! Previews for this week's comics are right here, including exclusive looks at Aspen's Mindfield #5 and Dynamite's The Death of Zorro #1.

Has there not been enough Goom, The Thing From Planet X in your life? J. Caleb Mozzocco has the remedy with this week's ‘Twas the Night Before Wednesday… on Blog@Newsarama, looking at Marvel's new Iceman & Angel #1 one-shot among other notable new releases.

Event season starts this week, with Marvel's massive Fear Itself event kicking off with the one-shot prologue Fear Itself: Book of the Skull. Elsewhere at the publisher, the CrossGen revival continues with Ruse #1 and Dan Slott and Marcos Martin aim to keep momentum going with Amazing Spider-Man #656.

DC is all about the "ombi" this week, with a new ongoing series in the form of Xombi #1, and the first trade paperback collection of Chris Roberson and Mike Allred's Vertigo title iZombie. More traditional superheroics come in the form of Superman #709 and Batman #708.

The increasingly buzzworthy creator-owned Nick Spencer and Joe Eisma Image series sees a new issue with Morning Glories #8, Top Cow's crossover keeps on keepin' on in Artifacts #6, and BOOM! is putting out Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning's second issue of Soldier Zero, #6.

The never-shy Best Shots crew has reviews of those last three comics here, but you know how this works by now: We want to hear from you! So buy some comic books, read them carefully (don't want any paper cuts, or, um, iPad touchscreen fingerprint burn), then get on Twitter (Don't forget to follow us!), and let the world know your 140-character-or-less thoughts on this week's releases. Just add the hashtag:

#RamaRev

and it'll go into our stream right here! So share your thoughts, spread the word, and let's talk comics!
