SUPERMAN /BATMAN: APOCALYPSE LA Premiere

The latest installment in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies line is Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, the follow-up to last year's Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. Like that film, it's based on a Jeph Loeb-written story arc from the Superman/Batman comic — this time "The Supergirl From Krypton," which ran from issues #8-13 and featured art by the late Michael Turner.

It's in stores on DVD and Blu-Ray a week from today, and Superman/Batman: Apocalypse gets a premiere screening tonight in Los Angeles at the Paley Center for Media, with a panel following featuring DC Animation executive producer Bruce Timm, director Lauren Montgomery, writer Tab Murphy, casting/dialogue director Andrea Romano, and voice talent Susan Eisenberg (Wonder Woman) and Rachel Quaintance (Artemis, Lyla).

Newsarama will be there live, covering the panel tentatively set to start at 8:20 p.m. PDT (11:20pm EDT). Until then, check out these clips of the film — Superman and Batman arriving on Apokolips and Supergirl's disoriented few minutes after arriving on Earth.
