All summer, Marvel Comics has been doing periodic "Next Big Thing" conferences calls with press, starting with "Marvel Universe: The Next Big Thing — Death of Dracula," followed by "Marvel Universe: The Next Big Thing — Avengers: Children's Crusade." It's been about a month-and-a-half since their last one on Marvel Universe vs. The Punisher, but their back this afternoon with "MARVEL UNIVERSE: NEXT BIG THING— Fantastic Four - THREE."
First announced in June, "Three" starts in September's Fantastic Four #583, and as the title implies, it looks like the most famous quartet in comic books will soon be a trio. Today's call features Fantastic Four series writer Jonathan Hickman, and Marvel Vice-President Executive Editor Tom Brevoort.
