Judd Winick Returns to the Hood in RED HOOD: LOST DAYS

Judd Winick Returns to [RED] HOOD

The next DC Universe animated feature film from Warner Bros. Home Video - Batman: Under the Red Hood will arrive on DVD and Blu-ray in June, adapting over two year's worth of writer Judd Winick's Red Hood storyline from the Batman comic book series.  And in a turn of creative synergy, DC Comics will debut a new six-issue limited series that same month, entitled ... you guessed it ... Red Hood: The Lost Days, by … you guessed it … writer Judd Winick and artist Pablo Raimondi, revealing the "untold story of the man behind the Red Hood."

"It’s the tale of an angry young man’s transformation into a deadly villain."

“I’m thrilled to return to this character, and it’s both a joy and challenge to tackle this new story," the writer told DCU Blog The Source. Lost Days tracks the time from the Red Hood’s rebirth to his return to Gotham. In it, we get to understand this anti-hero in a new way. I think it explains both how he’s sympathetic, and an unrepentant monster. He’s a wonderfully complex character, and I hope this adds some even greater depth to his mythology.”
