Early footage from Star Wars: The Last Jedi was reportedly shown at a Disney shareholders meeting this week. And though the footage hasn't been made available publicly, a description of what was shown was tweeted by Los Angeles Times reporter Daniel Miller.
The clip reportedly features the meeting between Rey and Luke Skywalker, presaged at the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. According to Miller, Skywalker asks Rey's identity, and she responds with a demonstration of her lightsaber skills.
Also present in the footage, according to Miller's description, are Chewbacca, General Leia Organa, and Finn, as well as scenes of an X-Wing in a dogfight aboard a much larger ship and numerous locations.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is due out in theaters December 15.
