DAVE HUNT Passes Away At 75

Comic book penciller, inker, and colorist David "Dave" Hunt passed away on Sunday at the age of 75 after a prolonged battle with cancer, according to The Beat.

Born August 2, 1942 in Newark, New Jersey, Hunt entered the comic book industry in the early 1970s at Marvel inking for Frank Giacoia and Mike Esposito. He went on to be an inker for Curt Swan, John Byrne, and Ross Andru.

In addition to inking, Hunt also illustrated a handful of stories for Detective Comics, Supergirl, and Marvel's Transformers title.
