Jamie Chung has been cast as Blink in Fox's untitled X-Men television series. This would be a recasting, as Fan Bingbing portrayed Blink in 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past, and the producers of this live-action Fox show have confirmed this takes place in the continuity of the movies. Marvel Television, who announced the casting, describes Chung's character as "a sarcastic and lively tomboy."

"Clarice’s naturally strong exuberance has taken a hit after a sudden and traumatic upheaval of her life," reads Marvel's description. "As she adjusts to the new people and places that are suddenly ‘home,’ Clarice is slowly becoming herself again."

Blair Redford was previously cast as a Native-American mutant named Sam that leads an underground network.

Chung is currently appearing on Fox's Gotham as Valerie Vale, and has worked on a number of comic book adaptations including Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, and Big Hero 6.

Fox's untitled X-Men show has Burn Notice's Matt Nix as showrunner, with long-time X-Men movie director Bryan Singer helming the pilot.
