ReedPOP and New York Comic Con founder Greg Topalain's LeftField Media has become a major investor and partner in Portland, Oregon's Rose City Comic Con. Founded by Ron and Paula Brister in 2011, RCCC has quickly grown into a major regional convention with over 42,000 attendees annually. It's next event is scheduled for September 8-10 at the Oregon Convention Center.

“We love our fans, and we love Portland! It’s this creative city and its people that inspired us to start Rose City Comic Con. Our constant and consistent goal is to bring a high quality, family-friendly event that will appeal to Portland each and every year,” said Ron Brister, Rose City Comic Con Founder. “Adding Greg and the LeftField team to the Rose City Comic Con team as partners will continue to allow RCCC to grow in many ways, including adding a day to our 2017 event, making RCCC a three day fan experience for the first time!”

After departing ReedPOP in 2014, Topalian co-founded LeftFieldMedia and has slowly grown a convention portfolio that includes Awesome Con (Washington, D.C.), Anime NYC, Five Points Festival (New York City), and now Rose City Comic Con.
