Arrival screenwriter Eric Heisserer is returning to comic books to work on a new project with Valiant Entertainment and artists Raul Allen and Patricia Martin. No details about the project are available presently, but the publisher has released this graphic teaser with text "Tomorrow, the secret is out..." and a release date of June.

Although Heisserer is best known for Arrival (which he earned an 2017 Acadamy Award nomination for), the writer has worked on several comic books including Dark Horse's Lone Wolf 2100: Chase The Setting Sun, Shaper, and several anthology shorts for BOOM! Studios.

Interestingly, Heisserer has already worked on several Valiant projects, as he wrote the Bloodshot and Harbinger screenplays for Sony Pictures' planned adaptations. He also wrote the films A Nightmare on Elm Street, Final Destination 5, The Thing, Hours, and Lights Out.
