Updated December 28, 2016: Logan director James Mangold, star Hugh Jackman, and Ryan Reynolds himself have all refuted reports that Deadpool will have a cameo in the film. Read more on their reactions right here. TheWrap maintains that their story is accurate, despite these denials.
Original Story: Ryan Reynolds has shot a scene as Deadpool for Logan, Hugh Jackman's third (and purportedly final) solo film, according to TheWrap.
Citing unnamed sources, the report says that Reynolds appeared on-set to shoot a scene for the film, which is currently in production. TheWrap reports that the scene could be a post-credits "stinger." 20th Century Fox has is said to have declined to comment on Reynolds's possible cameo to TheWrap.
Reynolds first appeared as Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the first Wolverine solo film, though the version he played in Deadpool was vastly different, with little connection to his previous appearance.
Reynolds has lobbied to appear onscreen as his new iteration of Deadpool with Wolverine for some time, even wearing a Hugh Jackman mask in one scene of his own film.
Logan is scheduled for a March 3, 2017 theatrical release.
