MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 6 Gets Release Date, Goes Head-To-Head With AQUAMAN

Mission: Impossible, Tom Cruise's longrunning blockbuster espionage franchise, is aiming to return to theaters in summer 2018.

According to Deadline, the still untitled Mission: Impossible 6 has been scheduled for a July 27, 2018 theatrical release, placing it in direct competition for Warner Bros.' Aquaman solo film, scheduled for the same date.

Cruise is attached to reprise his starring role in this sixth Mission: Impossible movie, though no further information about the cast, crew, or story has been released.
