Earlier this year, Facebook founder Mark Zukerberg announced a project to create a personal A.I. to run his house - similar to Tony Stark's J.A.R.V.I.S. in the Avengers films. Now, Zuckerberg has reportedly accomplished most of his tasks - teaching the A.I. to recognize voices and faces, control his home environment and security, and more - and is ready to give his personal assistant a voice.
"It's time to give my AI Jarvis a voice," Zuckerberg posted - where else? - on Facebook. "Who should I ask to do it?"
After a round of fan suggestions including everyone from the actual Jarvis, Paul Bettany, to Doctor Strange's Benedict Cumberbatch, Robert Downey, Jr. jumped in to offer his services - on one condition.
"I'll do in a heartbeat," said Downey. "If Bettany gets paid and donates it to a cause of Cumberbatch's choosing...that's the right kind of STRANGE!"
So far nothing is official, but Zuckerberg responded to Downey's request by simply saying "This just got real!"
Maybe a T.O.N.Y. A.I. is in Zuckerberg's future.
