The Center for Cartoon Studies has released details for cartoonists interested in its annual Cornish CCS Residency Fellowship. The month-long residency is to allow the chosen cartoonist "a focused and inspiring environment... in order to create exceptional work." The residency is scheduled for February 2017, and will be at a home previously lived-in by J.D. Salinger in rural New Hampshire.

As part of the residency, The Center for Cartoon Studies will provide the Resident with access to its classrooms, Schulz Library, and production lab (that includes computers, scanners, and printers). The Center for Cartoon Studies is located in White River Junction, VT, 16 miles from Cornish.

Interested cartoonists have until November 1, 2016 to apply, with the cartoonist chosen to be announced December 16.
